Truths

Why is it so hard to accept truths
How much truths do I want to accept
In a situation the truths there to see
The consequences clear
I profess to seek truths
Yet I choose to do [be] contrary to the rights

I smoke the cigarette
Drink the booze
Abuse the drugs
Eat the wrong foods
Entertain the wrong concepts
Find any number of reasons
As to why I should do
Things I should not do

So how much truths do I want to accept
The reaction to the action will be
Maybe today or a while to come
And in that moment
What will the excuse be
Then will you accept the truths
Or continue to seek excuses

We keep talking of a better life
Wanting of a better life on different levels
Spiritual , economical , socially , personally
But how much truths is there to that
Achieving the better life on the different levels
Will be a reflection of how much truth is accepted

Accepting truths possess a problem
Now the onus is on you
Cause here comes the responsibility
No more hiding behind an excuse
Cause your actions are there to see
Reflecting the truths you live by

Truths are unchanging
Actions are likewise
The responsibilities are yours
What will the reflections be
Mirroring the truths within the actions
Laying bare a you for all to see .
