...We only seek justification for the things we know are wrong...

       World Affairs

To where are they leading us

America, Russia, China

Rome, Jerusalem, Mecca

Ethiopia, Egypt, South Africa

Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela

England, Canada, Australia

Jamaica, Cuba, Trinidad

Korea, Iraq, Vietnam,

India Pakistan Bangladesh

World over

To where are the people been led

See the state of the world

How it is dominated by

Wars and rumors of war

Oppression, inequality and injustice

Hunger, diseases, poverty

Policies and politics

Reasons and explanations

Propaganda and hypocrisy

Leading us to where

America, Russia, China

And it’s all about power

Propaganda to cover the hypocrisy

Lip service to the cause of humanity

Many reasons and explanations for actions

Defending policies behind the politics

With majority in poverty

Hunger and diseases going nowhere

Behind a concept of inequality

Oppression and injustice paving the path

To wars and rumors of wars

Defining too much of life for too many

Rome, Jerusalem, Mecca

Acknowledged centers of religious doctrines

Professing to be representing God

But full of contradictions

With false leaders and doctrines

Blessing policies and politics

Upholding the lies against humanity

Instigating divisions and inequalities

Having become agents of oppression

Wanting us to believe today’s realty

Of injustice, wars and hunger

Is God’s doing

Not the works of the conspirators

Against God and humanity

Ethiopia, Egypt, South Africa

Stalwarts on the African continent

Representing the unique histories and legacies

With this need to destroy concepts of division

Ridding Africa of this stigma

That Africa’s life is of less importance

So instead of been raped, pillaged and plundered

Africa can once more give to the world

Leading the world to righteousness

Like she led the world to civilization

England, Canada, Australia

Behind that mannerism and airs

Much talk about civilizing peoples

But it’s a documented reality

Filled with contradictions and lies

Race, religion and political ideologies

Combining for the lines of division

Followed by the policies

Establishing oppression and inequality

With reasons explanations and propaganda

Before truths and rights and justice

Killing man woman and child

For the looting and plundering

Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad

After all that struggle

What has become of the promise?

The beauty

Seems the victimization never stopped

As with the taste of freedom

Came an oversize helping of propaganda

Leaving you singing divisions praise

Not a chance for unity

Powers that be putting policies before people

For poverty and violence to hold sway

Killing the leaders of visions

Leaving the people to perish

Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela

Is it too much to ask

That you become champions for the poor

For humanity

Giving your people their due respect

Close doors to oppressors and exploiters

Be today’s spark igniting the flames for

   Justice

Keeping us on the path to peace

That does not require

These sojourns into war and destruction

Korea, Iraq Vietnam,

Where it is political ideologies

Before your humanity

Having become someone’s prize

Wars are waged, humanity savaged

For the continuation of

Exploitation oppression and injustice

Some been satisfied with the half of loaf

Behind lines of demarcations

Trapping humanity in this cycle

India Pakistan Bangladesh

To have loss your oneness

To religion, concepts of inequality

Now it’s nationality before humanity

So instead of brotherly love

Its brotherly hatred

Behind celebrated lines of division

Waiting on that excuse with fingers tensed

But what about the unity, the humanity

The Godliness

So people of the world

The cause of peace with such a cost

The human right that must be preserved

The insecurity of collective security

And all the changes needed

For the promises to be

Have their answer in

                            Love and justice
