The Blind one
Tap tap tap
I hear this approach
And I look up to see
The bravest one I ever see
The epitome of faith
One of the greatest source of inspiration

There are times
I go about feeling sorry for myself
Maybe because I am lacking
Something I think I need
Feeling a few hunger pangs
Then I hear tap tap tap
And suddenly even if its for a moment
These problems are not so important
As I cannot see the need to feel sorry for myself

Then there are times
There is this feeling of been safe and snug
Strutting around like a peacock
As proud as a lion
Feeling too strong to describe
As if this world revolves around me
And I hear tap tap tap
Such a humbling sound to the ear
As the ego is been deflated
Forcing me to see how frail I am

Should this symbol of faith and bravery
Bless my path on my daily journey
Could I dare feel sorry for this one
Feel any pity or express such
Could I dare to draw upon
This source of inspiration and strength
And not return love in its essence
Not stop for a moment and give thanks
Count the many blessings I take for granted
