Mind of the times In quest for quick solutions Spewing out ideologies Brainwashing the purpose Garbage the message Trying to protect selfish interest   Minds twisted beyond belief Propelled by popular disbelief Wrap in slime and filth Too much mis-education Diseased with corrupt thoughts Setting up contradictions Creating confusions Keeping the truths disguised   Minds playing deadly games Waging all kinds of wars Unleashing savagery on humanity With injustice to no ends Heads of governments Diplomatic murderers Political power and ideology Destroying the sense of decency   Minds trapping minds Oppressed waging war against oppressed Trying to be the decorated war hero Spilling the innocent Blood Haunting memories for a life time No changes in their plight at the wars end Forsaking the real struggle Waiting for the next unjust war   Mind obsessed with greed Scheming constantly Selling souls Wealth and power the price Devastating changes for the human race Selfish needs to be satisfied   Minds out of control Encouraging our differences Down playing our similarities Fostering  hatred All part of the divide and rule Keep them fighting amongst themselves Ensuring their position in bondage   What about your mind Have you lost it Is it pained by the madness Does it justify Murdering of the Children Atrocities against the people Succumbing to all the brainwashing   Yes who control your mind Is it dominated by fears Why you accept the hypocrisy Why you don't speak out Get up and take a stand Cry out for some justice Cry out against these minds Struggle against these minds Never giving away control of your mind                        to another mind.   [Home] [About] [Contact Us] [Poetry] [My Poetry] [Featured Poem] [User Poems] [Three Poems] [Events] [Guidelines] [Legal]
