Don’t know what they are thinkingThese presidents, prime ministersWhatever the assumed title chosen Do they think these positions excuse themFrom the judgemant For all those laying murderous waysApparently requirements for positions of leadership Make their wrong right, free them of the bloodThe blood of the innocent child, the victims Killed, maimed, destroyed by bombs, bullets, and policies All these preachers, bishops, rabbis Whatever the assumed title What of your judgemantLeading people astray preaching, upholding liesWith Gods truth to further agendasGiving blessings to tyrants and murderers Who wreaks savagery on humanity Silently watching their flocks and humanity suffer Only talking about hell fire not a word on today’s injustices As church and state dance this deadly tango Yes generals and commissioners chain of command Whatever the assumed title Ever think of the judgemantCarrying out these orders, doing the job Spilling humanities blood to maintain unjust laws Instituting and upholding oppressive policies Robbing people of God given rights To secure privileges for a fewWith only talk for justice, truths and rights You the populace ,the individuals, the collectiveHowever you define you, what of your judgemantThink the justifications given, accepted Free you to not care about humanityBe silent at the betrayal of humanityRemain indifferent to the sufferingNot be concerned about the savagery of governments The lies and brutality of those betraying humanityOur leaders You the people one and allMaybe we could start loving our neighbors Exercise some discipline, some moral constraint among selfPut our humanity before divisions of race, nationality, religion Not sit in silence and fear at the atrocities that aboundBut exposing the lies we have been toldRefusing false leadership seeking to take us down pathsDefined by hatred, destruction and betrayalLetting truths and rights stand as our guiding light As we demand higher standards of ourselves and our leaders
